My "Reflections on the Past Year" MI-5

Since it is the week before New Year's Day I thought we could do some reflecting on the past year.

1. What one unexpected joy did you discover?
Homeschooling. I love it!
2. What two things would you have done differently? Why?
I would put more structure into our "school" day & have more projects for the boys. Because I wanted Julia to enjoy homeschooling I let her do the curriculum in whatever order she wanted & do whatever projects she wanted, this left her with a lot of free time. And for the second part, I didn't plan enough things for the boys & it left them a lot of time to get into trouble! :) In the new year all the kids will have a more structured day.
3. What were the three most significant events?
Homeschooling (anyone seeing the theme of my life?), Julia turned 10, Nathaniel learned to write his nickname & a couple other simple words.
4. What four things did you do that were the most fun?
Vacation at Storyland, Women of Faith Conference in Boston, My birthday scrapbooking party, & Christmas.
5. What five things are you most grateful for?
Jesus & His saving grace, Bill, the kids, extended family & friends.
