Merry Christmas!
We have a busy couple of days ahead of us. Here's what's happening: Tonight we go to Ma's for supper, church for a candlelight service, back to Ma's for presents & eggnog (best eggnog ever!). Tomorrow morning my side of the family arrives at our house for a light breakfast & presents. We then head to my mother-in-law's for lunch & more presents! I am just as excited as the kids. I love watching them open their presents. The older they get the more fun it gets. Because of having carpal tunnel surgery almost 2 weeks ago, I got pretty much everything done, so this morning all I have to do is wrap the last couple of presents, make a couple of gifts in a jar, & make the banana bread for breakfast. Compared to years past, that's not much! I'm usually rushing around all day, then wrapping presents until the wee hours. I must say that I think I enjoy this less stressful day much better.
