I'm On Vacation!
A few weeks ago my mom mentioned that this week she & my Dad were taking vacation this week. She asked if she could have the kids for some of the week. I, of course, said yes. It turns out that they wanted to take the kids from Sunday night through Thursday afternoon!! Right after church we headed up to my folks house & had a BBQ & also celebrated my Mom's birthday (which was this past Saturday) & Father's Day. After evening church we went to Applebee's for supper. Today I have sorted all the boys toys & books & took care of several bags of things that came out of the van that had accumulated over the winter. This time of day is when things get hard for me because it's usually so chaotic & noisy & it's a little weird to have it be so quiet, but I'm trying to enjoy it.
